Description of App

The My TELUS app lets you conveniently manage your Mobility and Home accounts wherever you are.

Best of all, you won’t be charged data fees when using the My TELUS app with a TELUS Mobility plan, even while travelling abroad with a 4G (HSPA) or LTE device.

Mobile access is for use in Canada only, on select devices within wireless network coverage areas. Data charges may apply for service outside Wi-Fi coverage.

Please note:

My TELUS requires iOS 11.0 or later. My TELUS is compatible with iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.

Select small business accounts are supported, but Corporate and Enterprise accounts are not yet eligible.

Features for customers on monthly rate plans include:

● Monitor your monthly data, text, and voice usage
● Check your account balance
● Make a one-time payment, set up automatic payments, make payment arrangements, and report a payment
● Set up SMS or email notifications when your bill is ready
● Download and view past bills
● Add Easy Roam for travel coverage
● Add or remove features like text messaging or data packs
● Check your device balance and contract status
● Quickly check your usage with Siri Shortcuts

Features for customers with prepaid accounts include:

● Monitor your prepaid add-on usage
● Check your account balance
● Top-up your prepaid services using a credit card or PIN
● Add features like text messaging, voicemail, etc.

Home Services customers can use the app to:

● Quickly pay your internet, TV, mobile and home phone bills
● Easily manage your Pik TV and Optik TV channels, theme packs, and premium selections
● Review and update all your TELUS plans
● Easily monitor your internet usage to avoid overages
● Enrol in TELUS Rewards and check your points balance

The My TELUS app requests these permissions from your device:

● Directly call phone numbers, to enable the app to call TELUS support for you with one simple tap.
● View network connection, to detect the network in use (i.e. Wi-Fi or mobile).
● Full network access, to access the Internet and communicate with TELUS servers.
● Location, to support and simplify the purchasing of travel options, and for special in-store offers.

The app is fully accessible with VoiceOver and is easy to navigate and use.

Other Comments

For Canadians using Telus as their mobile provider, this is a handy app to have to track your data usage and billing without having to visit the website.
