Description of App
Dystopia is a fast, powerful, and accessible app for Reddit.
Packed full of creature comforts like a beautiful media viewer and power user features like full keyboard navigation and a built-in command interface, Dystopia is a great way to use Reddit whether you're new to the site or have been there since the dark ages (back when the Narwhal was Baconing at Midnight). Upvote with just a flick, enjoy real-time chat to quickly hash things out privately, get notified when someone replies to your comments, and submit your own images and posts all without leaving the app.
Dystopia is meant to be enjoyed by everyone; whether you like to use your device with a larger font size, VoiceOver, a braille reader, or Switch Control, Dystopia is convenient and natural to use.

No Go So Far
Downloading the app was a breeze, but signing in is an endless loop, where it signs into the Reddit page on Safari, without signing in on Dystopia. As the Reddit page is so cluttered, I can't find an option to allow Dystopia to have access to my Reddit account. I know that Reddit is responsible for this issue because they've forced other third-party apps to discontinue. The sign-in process was far easier on Apollo, may it R.I.P.
I got in just fine
Good morning,
I was able to sign-in to both the main app & Afterglow just fine.
I’m using an iPhone 13 Pro Max running the ios 17 developer beta & using Microsoft Edge as my default browser.
Bit Confused Here...
Subject is pretty accurate. Is this app finally out of beta, and if so does this directory entry reflect the new changes to Reddit? I was one of the beta testers for this app, and it worked flawlessly for me. Never tried Afterglow support though, as it seemed to be a paid feature and I didn't have enough bucks.
AfterGlow is free.
The contents of the entire app, including afterglow, are absolutely free!
I just downloaded the app last night and couldn’t be happier with it.
Since there is now an App Store page for it, Yes, this app is no longer in beta. I am still going to keep the beta in my TestFlight list, in case the developer comes out with a new one, which I’m sure he will at some point.
hmmmm
I wonder why it took all of this to get this app finally on the App Store? The dev always had an excuse or another as to why he couldn't publish it even going as far as seeing a conflict with another job he had. However, since the random changes from Reddit now he can get this app published? I just find the whole thing a bit strange!
are you saying you think he's working with reddit?
he just had a job that didn't allow him to publlish apps, it's annoying but that's all there is to it.
The app is fully useable…
The app is fully useable with VoiceOver. The app layout is super easy to navigate.
This is a great alternative to the regular Reddit app.
