Description of App
Oh Craps! is a blind-first and accessibility-first reference guide for Casino Craps strategies. The strategy list is searchable, navigable, and filterable, and for new players, a Rules tab contains Craps rules, table etiquette, common terms, and payouts. The About tab contains additional resources for learning about the game, gambling addiction support, and easy methods for submitting feedback.
Accessibility Comments
This app was built from the ground up with VoiceOver and accessibility in mind. The strategy list is navigable by sorted alphabetical heading, structural headings are used in the strategy detail views to jump between information sections, and the strategy steps are clearly enumerated in ordered lists with bulleted sublists. VoiceOver announcements are used when searching through the strategy list, all buttons are clearly labeled and have defined roles, and the app follows a common, predictable, and consistent navigation pattern. Dynamic type support has been built in for low-vision users, and all color contrast ratios for the text design are well above the WCAG minimums. There is no distracting motion, no animation, everything exists purely for quick reference and usability when out and about.
