TagFit, organize your things

Category

Description of App

What is this? Point your camera at anything and AI tells you what you are holding.

Scan the expiry date printed on a product and TagFit reads it, remembers it, and warns you before it turns. It also counts the days since you opened it, and alerts you on whichever deadline comes first.

Put an NFC tag on each garment, add it to TagFit, and build outfits: smart, casual, dinner out. Never walk out the door again wondering whether what you are wearing actually goes together.

Want a second opinion from someone who can see? Give a helper access to your wardrobe. From helper.tagfit.app they can see the photos of your clothes and put outfits together for you. Even from a thousand miles away, they can always lend a hand.

Print QR labels at home, stick them on whatever you like, point the camera, and everything you need to know is right there.

Tag a tin. Tag a box of medication. Tag one jar of spice among the fifty identical ones in your rack. Then just sweep your phone over it and it tells you what it is — you do not even have to aim. That is what NFC gives you that a camera never will.

Works offline. No account needed. Free on the App Store.

Accessibility Comments

TagFit was built VoiceOver-first, not retrofitted afterwards. I am a blind developer, I use this app every day.

• Every control has a label. There are no unlabelled buttons and no mystery icons.
• List rows expose their actions through the VoiceOver Actions rotor, so you are not hunting for undiscoverable swipe gestures.
• Headings are properly marked up, so heading navigation works.
• Decorative icons are hidden from VoiceOver. You will not hear a stray glyph name in the middle of an item's name.
• Dynamic Type is supported all the way to the largest accessibility sizes. Version 1.0.11 came out of an exhaustive audit of every single screen at maximum text size: fields grow instead of clipping, button rows wrap onto more lines, labels stack above their controls when they no longer fit side by side, and modal sheets scroll.
• Voice Control works, because every control has an accessible name.

VoiceOver Performance

VoiceOver reads all page elements.

Button Labeling

All buttons are clearly labeled.

Usability

The app is fully accessible with VoiceOver and is easy to navigate and use.

Other Comments

Disclosure: I am the developer of this app. I am posting it here because AppleVis is where I learned what good accessibility actually looks like, and feedback from this community is worth more to me than any star rating.

What is free and what is not: the app is free and the core works with no account at all — inventory, NFC and QR tags, spaces, categories, voice notes, and everything offline. A free account, email only, unlocks the AI features with a monthly allowance. TagFit Premium (0.99 EUR a month or 9.99 EUR a year) multiplies that AI allowance by five and adds cloud backup and shared spaces. Premium can be bought and restored anonymously: no email, no password.

Need NFC tags? There is a list of where to buy them, plus free printable QR labels, at tagfit.app. The app works with NFC Forum Type 2, 4 and 5 tags that support NDEF (NTAG213, NTAG215, NTAG216 and similar).

The app is available in English, Spanish, French, Italian and Portuguese.

If something does not work properly with VoiceOver, tell me and I will fix it. That is the whole point of the app.
