Watch NHK WORLD TV live and on-demand.
NHK WORLD TV is the English-language international service produced by NHK, Japan’s public broadcaster.
This app allows you to enjoy news and other programs via live streaming, 24 hours a day.
Many of the programs are also available as video on-demand (VOD).
Please note that for copyright reasons, some programs are not available.
The video quality depends on your internet connection speed, which the app will detect automatically.
Please be aware that video streaming requires large amount of data packets, so the cost may be greater than you expect.
We strongly recommend using Wi-Fi or entering into a flat rate data contract with your provider.

This app is very easy to use with Voiceover. There are a couple of ambiguous button labels, but it's easy to figure them out. (For example: ico-updating for refresh") The descriptions of each program are read easily by Voiceover. My favorite feature of the app is background audio, which allows you to listen to the audio stream of videos while doing other tasks on your device.
