The app is laid out in landscape mode, where the home button is to the left. On this layout (on the free version), there is a small ad on the top, 2 rows of 4 drumbs right below that, and a series of clearly labeled buttons on the bottom. You will know when you reach the drumbs, because voice over will announce "pad button." Note that if you want to play the drumbs, you must turn off voice over first. If you are getting familiar with the app, you might want to double-tap on each button with voice over to here where the drums are and what they sound like. Overall, this is a very accessible piece of software.
VoiceOver reads all page elements.
Most buttons are clearly labeled.
There are some minor accessibility issues with this app, but they are easy to deal with.
Rhythm pad is a free app (or if you don't want ads, it's a paid app). In this app, you use the speed of your fingers and the simple drumb pattern to create freekishly awesome beets. In the free version at least, there are 8 to 10 different kits to choose from. You are able to record, play, and even email your beets after they are done. There are no lag times in this app--as soon as you tap, it responds enabling fast beets. Enjoy!
