Imagine a world that you could explore infinitely, continually finding an endless amount of entirely new content and adventures. What if you could also choose any action you can think of instead of being limited by the imagination of the developers who created the game? This is AI Dungeon. Any action you take, anything you choose to say, anywhere you choose to go, in any time period you want to play - there's an infinite number of adventures waiting. AI Dungeon is the first limitless text adventure game of its kind built with extremely advanced artificial intelligence using a massive deep neural network at its core.

Accessibility Comments

This app is extremely accessible. However, voice-over does not automatically read the output of the app. This means that you will have to scroll to the left to read what happens after you type your commands.

VoiceOver Performance

VoiceOver reads all page elements.

Button Labeling

All buttons are clearly labeled.

Usability

There are some minor accessibility issues with this app, but they are easy to deal with.

Other Comments

You will need a constant Internet connection to play this as the artificial intelligence is not stored locally on your device. You will also need to create an account.

So, on the web And iOS, there is this close Button you have to press every time the a iResponds. This is annoying. I've already mentioned to the developer that this Needs to go back to the way it used to be.

My adventures aren’t showing up in the list. I played a hilarious story and wanted to publish it but it simply wasn’t there. I thought it was because I was using the custom prompt so I used a different one but that didn’t work either. Is anybody else having this problem?

Be sure to check under the adventures tab and not the scenarios tab. Other than that, i don't know.

VO has been grouping my entire story together since the last update. It’s pretty darn annoying especially since I like to play pretty long adventures.

As this also effects the Android application, I am not sure what the best course of action would be here.
Besides contacting the AI Dungeon team (preferably either their Discord or email.)
I don’t know how active they are on Twitter when it comes to support questions.

For now, bookmarking
https://play.aidungeon.io/
on your home screen, is the best course of action, till a fix is made available.

Since the last two updates, voice-over stopped reading the story text And setting selections. I'm using an iPhone XS Max. Does anyone have the same problem?

By DMNagel on Sunday, July 5, 2020 - 20:00

Voice-over now once again reads the text. However, somethings can only be found when exploring by touch. When using the menu, you must explore by touch and find the Unpronounceable in the top left corner. When saving settings, you must also explore by touch and find done in the top right corner. Inside an adventure, you must also explore by touch in order to find quests, feedback or edit. They are also labelled as unpronounceables And can be located at the top With trial and error. The same thing apply when trying to play scenarios. At least now there is an accessibility mode where adventure text Is being displayed as before. However, this mode is turned off by default, so it's up to you to go into settings and change accessibility mode from 0 to 1.

Accessibility completely went down the drain. Does anyone else know an app similar to this?
