Please note that this is an app designed to play audio books purchased from the drama company big finish productions, I believe it can't be used to play your own books. the idea is its much easier to used to play mp3s you purchase from them than having to download to your computer then import through iTunes. As such you do have to have a big finish account to use this app and have actually bought some stuff. You can't purchase through the app you must do that from there website. The app doesn't support trailers or other media they put out, the best way to keep track of that is to use soundcloud.

Since with Big Finish, if you buy CD releases, you also get DRM-free digital downloads for free, this is great for all the purchases, even those released before the app was available.
My one suggestion to the developer is that it would be good if it remembered the sort sequence you selected between sessions. At present, each time I open the app,it defaults to ascending alphabetic order. As I've got well over 300 titles in my list, I prefer to sort them by descending release date so I get the new ones at the top as they come out.
I would say comments like that should be emailed to them, as doubt they check or know about applevis, not that they would nee to check it given that the app is fully accessible.
Hi David, that change was added a few releases ago. Enjoy!
Odddly enough, I just found today that it is remembering my filters on startup now. So I've obviously been missing updates for a while for some reason. Everything's set to automatically update, so no idea why that was. But thanks for the change as it makes it so much easier to use.
Looking forward to the day when we can play by streaming direct from the server... assuming it hasn't been added already and I'm just way behind on updates. ;-)
