Hi all, I’m trying many ways to Access telegram efficiently on Mac, but I’m not able to achieve. Tried tweescake along with the telegram web, nothing is usable. Can someone suggest me a better alternative way for this?
I'm wondering this myself, as I just got a 2020 Intel Mac Book Air from a friend, and would love to know if there are any accessible telegram apps for this platform.
I tried that, but even with quicknav and the like off I couldn't really navigate the app. Seems kind of silly to do that if I can't navigate an app I'm supposed to be able to use. I even tried getting out of the config session and stuff...nothing. Maybe I was just doing things wrong though. That's always a possibility.
I kind of figured tweesecake on the mac side out a little, but it still feels clunky and not at all natural to use. Anything that feels clunky to use will not work for me. I like pleasant experiences.
Once you get the keyboard commands down, Tweesecake is a good enough stop gap. Not sure why the Mac app and now the iOS app are completely useless. Perhaps someone can code up something in SwiftUI that is both pleasant to use and accessible.
I've submitted a complaint to Telegram directly and given them a 1 star review in the Mac App Store. Perhaps if enough of us complain through the Telegram support channel and give 1 star reviews in the App Stores, something can get done on accessibility.
That's certainly one way to go about this, but I honestly doubt they care all that much. We've been asking them to make things more accessible for years, and they haven't done what they need to do. I doubt 1-star reviews are going to change their tune. Far as I can see, this isn't a case of them doing anything illegal (unless there's something out there that says that apps *have* to be made accessible.) If they don't care, sucks to be them. They lose customers until they start caring.

Tweesecake
Use Tweesecake from tweesecake.app. It will run telegram sessions.
