#1 Doesn't seem to be free after all, but probably worth the price

Submitted by Justin Ekis on 16 January, 2012 - 03:16.

I just wanted to clarify that this app isn't free, at least not when I checked the app store tonight. However, I will certainly be buying this one. It sounds like it is well worth the $1.99. I really enjoy these old radio programs. Thank you for bringing it to my attention.
It is weird for a pay app to have "lite" in the title, which usually implies a free version of a more full-featured app. If there ever is a premium version, I will be all over that as well. I can never have too much of this stuff.

#2 Not Free

It is certainly worth the price if you like the old radio shows. The quality is great and I can't tell you how many hours I've used this. I love it myself. I'm not certain if this was Free at one time giving the name Lite but must agree with you this does confuse people. However, it is certainly lighter than the website which holds 10's of thousands of shows if you want to listen on a montlhy basis. So given this information this is the lighter version of the website which only show a fraction of what is on the website. I love that I can download the show and put this on the go without using any data to listen.

#3 Yes, indeed!

My family and I actually sat down together and played one of these through the dock for the iPhone. It was a cozy, wonderful, peaceful evening: both kids liked it: age 12 and 8!

#4 I had a chance to play with

Submitted by Richard P Merrill on 17 January, 2012 - 02:04.

I had a chance to play with the app and must say it is a great option for listening to old time radio. I haven't visited the website I hope to do so very very soon. The application is priced perfectly and a must-have for any old time radio enthusiast.

#6 lite versus Trademark

The Lite version is free, which provides access to some shows, the full version is not free, and permits access to nearly 4000 shows. Apparently, there is also a subscription service which provides access to even more shows. So that's the difference between the lite version (the one in this iOS app directory entry), and the paid version. I'll update the app entry accordingly.

#7 Creating Playlists

Submitted by Shanda on 1 February, 2013 - 16:07.

I am using an iPhone 5 running iOS 6.1, and version 1.3.1 of the full version of Vintage radio. Despite reading the entry on how to create playlists more than once, I stilL find that I am unable to do this successfully. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.
