Protecting my MacBook

So I finally got my new MacBook Pro and let me just first say that, dang this thing is thin. I spent several hours, first completing the initial setup and now occasionally playing around with it and figuring things out. My question is this, does anyone have any suggestions for a good quality sleeve or pouch I could place my MacBook in everytime I travel? My backpack has a built-in compartment but I would still feel more comfortable placing my MacBook in a sleeve to protect it even more. I am going to the nearest Apple Store and getting the AppleCare, as being blind, I like knowing that my Apple products are protected. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

#1 Clamshell

Hello,

I have my MBP in a clamshell type case from Speck. It protects the top and bottom of the Macbook while it’s in use or closed. It helps protect from scratches, dings or dents. It adds a bit of thickness all around but for me, it’s worth it knowing my MBP is well protected and will be in prestine condition should I decide to sell it. In case also makes good clamshell cases if you want to shop around.

HTH and good luck.
