When posting to the iOS App Directory

We've noticed a few instances recently where people have submitted an app to the App Directory and stated that it was tested on all iDevices. Can we remind you all that this field is for you to indicate which iDevices you have personally tested the app on. It has nothing to do with compatibility. The reason we ask this question is that some apps, mostly universal ones, can perform differently on different devices. So, if somebody is looking at an App Directory entry, and sees that the app was tested on the same device that they use, they can be fairly confident that it will work equally well for them. You cannot safely make the same assumption if it's a universal app and you use a different iDevice. Thanks, and keep the apps coming
