What is the difference between forum and blog on applevis?

HI, sorry, this question is so stupid but.. I saw that in a part of this forum, on Applevis page there is a Blog, but, so, what is the difference between one and the other?, in blog, is it possible, as happens in Forum, to be informed about the new post, or about the messages on post in which you partecipated'.

blog Vs. forum
They are 2 separate things. You can click on the subscribe links on ANY post in guide forum blog podcast or the like. Then you'll get an email when someone comments.
forum: all members of applevis get to post here. And all can comment on them as well. Lots of us use it to try & solve issues or find workarounds & for all sorts of things.
blog: Applevis has a team of bloggers that can post here. They write posts for the blog & we can comment on them. but that's it.
