Question for the people at AppleVis

Hello People of AppleVis, At the beginning of the podcasts posted on this site, you have an intro sound effect before the people begin speaking. I wanted to know if I could get ahold of the audio file and use it for a text tone notification on my 4s. If so, how do I get ahold of it and insert it into that position in my sounds menu? If i cannot use this audio file, does anyone know of a cool site I could get some text tones that are pretty attention grabbing or original? I appreciate any help anyone could provide. Thank you. -Andrew-

Hi Andrew, A good place to look for text tones would be the iTunes store. You can choose the tones category right in iTunes on your device. Once you buy and download a tone, it will be saved right into the proper place for use as a notification sound on your iPhone. Regards, Michael Hansen AppleVis Editorial Team

Hi Andrew,

These clips were made for us by Drew Weber, so he's the person that you should really ask if it is okay to use them. He might also have the audio in a form that is better suited for use as a tone.

Here's the link to his Twitter account: https://twitter.com/roosterloop or tweet him at @roosterloop
