We have just finalized a new version of Audio Rally Racing where we fixed two rather annoying errors that you audiogamers reported to us:

- in some instances the car could not cross the finish line
- still at the end of the race, you weren't able to go back to the main menu

issues with latest version

I'm having an issue where I cannot enter in my key at all. I start the game, and voice over decided to go crazy. I think I discussed this in one of the forum posts, but in case that got eaten by the Internet here isa small demo of what happens. I hope to get this fixed so I can enjoy as I bought the game and I want to get past entering in the key.

Still no word from the devs

Still no word from the devs regarding this matter and I can find no contacted info for IVProductions in the email I got when I ordered the game. I hope this problem can be looked in to and fixed asap, otherwise I will find a way to get my money back even though it says all sales are final. I can't except this problem on first launch, or shall i say new launch and new version of the game. I'm surprised that beta testers did not have this issue but the public does. I posted a recordin gof what happens either in this post or in a forum post, so will not do so here again. Please try and fix this issue or you will not have a happy gamer on your hands. In fact, I know I'm not the only one with this issue.

Can't get the latest update

I'm still unable to get the latest update of the game. I've sent several email requests, called the developers, and posted to the AppleVis forums but no one replied until now.
Can anyone tell me how can I get the latest available update of Audio Rally Racing for Mac?

I just downloaded in the email I got. but the latest was June 10 and that's what I can't play. I can't enter in the key in the June 10 version.

You shouldn't have to

You shouldn't have to enter in the key again. If you had a prior version, just copy the new version over the existing version. That's what I did and it did not ask me for the key again.

Iv'e used that email for

Iv'e used that email for contacting them regarding other matters, and that was over 6 montsh ago, and they never responded That was with another game I had bought. . I had a simple question about some sounds, but no response. I even sent them some feedback, although negative, but constructive, and still no response.

Can't cross the finishing line

I'm not having any problems with the activation key. I can't cross the finishing line in tournament mode. Please provide me with the first update of the game, I think it will help me for now. Why is this process so complicated? Do I have to write to you and call you via phone hundred times just for an update request?

activation fixes?

I sure hope the activation thing gets fixed as soon as humanly possible. I bought the game and am positive that I'm not the only one with the activation issue. I'm just kind of surprised it came up during the second version out, when the beta tested fine in April of this year, or whenever testing was happening. I can't remember when I sent in my feedback. Lol!

I normally don't gripe, but when an activation issue happens and you spent hard earned money on a what ever it is, that's not cool and does not sit well with me. Just voicing my opinion here so take it for what it's worth.

the issue we are facing right now is not completely under our control. Our DB service provider changed some server version and settings, which caused our process to start failing. We are still waiting from them to finish their part, we are pushing but have only so much power on them.We understand your unsatisfaction, and even your sarcasm, we are doing our best. Sorry.

Audio Rally Racing Update

I've been very patient with you game developers regarding this issue and I'm sure that most gamers like me are pissed off! I've seen the app deal you've posted that day about the summer sale of Audio Rally Racing for Mac and PC. If that's the case, don't expect to sell more copies of the game since you don't have a good service for your previous customers. I think that developers like you are just advertising and marketing their own games and apps through the AppleVis website which is totally unfair. Please read and understand carefully the goals of this website before posting any information about your products and offers.
I'm pretty sure that gamers like me are having the same issue. Please note that 19.90 euros is quite pricy for a such audio game, I highly suggest you to improve the quality of service you provide.

I understand you guys have had problems downloading and installing the update, and a level of frustration at the slow response time is certainly understandable. However, this is not an issue that affects all users. Like I said above, I had no problems. I just download the update from the link in the e-mail that I was sent, copied the new installation files over the existing ones, and everything worked. Also, this is not a tech support forum. While you can post issues you are having here, this is not the contact info for the developer. I apologize if this sounds rude and/or condescending. I don't mean it too. I just believe that sometimes there really are genuine technical problems. Hopefully everything will work fine for you now that the server is fixed.

Nobody forced or is forcing you to buy from us. If you think our games are too expensive, or the quality of our service is insufficient, you should not buy our games and play others'. We are sure you can find plenty of options out there.

Dear Mirko. Customer satisfaction is one of the important things to make your buyers happy about your products. I don't understand why can't I download the game updates manually even after sending several email requests and contacting the company via phone. Why the process is that complicated?
All emails from IV Productions and forums I've seen here are just an advertisement and summer sale for your games. Can you explain to me how would you sell your games if your servers aren't working and the update files aren't available?
Who ever reads this post, please correct me if I'm wrong.
I never experienced this with other game developers. Having that said, this doesn't mean that I don't like your audio games, I love them all however, I'm not happy with the quality of service you are giving me. As I explained above, 19.90€ is a bit pricey for customers. You really have to improve the quality of service you provide respectively.

Hi! I bought Audio Rally Racing after reading the announcement about the summer sale, having heard the AppleVis podcast about this game someetime before that. The only problem I had with my purchase was that I had to wait several days to get an email with my user code and a download link, but I would guess that the delay was probably caused by the server issues mentioned above. Since then I have had no problems either entering my user code or playing the game. As I am a PC user, I have only played the Windows version of Audio Rally Racing, which works exactly the same way as the mac version demonstrated in the podcast, and I'm very pleased with the game, although i admit that I'm not very good at finishing races without destroying my car yet. I'm sorry that some of you who play Audio Rally Racing on the mac have had problems, and I hope they can soon be solved for anyone who has them.

One final word Mirko, you have to build a good reputation of your company. Remember, you've been always saying: long live the audio games. This might happen if you didn't build a good reputation of your own company.

Sometimes it goes into the spam folder of your email client. Make sure you check there.

I did already. There are no emails from the developer, I went back to their website and did the same thing and I did not receive any message saying that the email has been sent. The page remains the same, that's frustrating!

I highly appreciate your help and support. I know we can't do anything, it's their job to fix their own problems. I'm just a fan of audio games like you.

Oh, one more thing. They should have notified all customers about the server thing that they are facing. What if a new customer purchased the game and had the same problem? He/ she'd probably ask for a refund.

yeah that's what happened. I

yeah that's what happened. I baught the product last week and am having the issue. I have not tried it to see if it was fixed, but I do agree. A news letter or anouncement email shodul have been sent. I run a small business myself and I always if I can try and send an anouncement to those on the subscriber list plus my facebook and twitter for the business.

I don't know when will they respond to their customers and provide them with the right service!!
I've purchased all of their games including this one and made a donation for Audio Rally Racing but they don't see all of this. They never appreciate.

It's clear that everything isn't working as expected. As the developers mentioned above, they gave up. Giving up is very easy after they've taken our money. Totally unfair.

I thought it was all fixed and they had server issues. bleh! i'll wait one more week as I'm busy teaching and that comes first, but yeah if it does not work after a new version release I will be asking for my money back, if at all possible.

Nothing was fixed

Nothing was fixed. The developer confirmed above that the server issue has been resolved, but everything seems the same. I visited the update request page and sent several requests there and nothing worked.
I might place a phone call tomorrow and drop them another email. All what I can do is wait for now, if they didn't send us an email notification about the latest update of Audio Rally Racing then I'd definitely request my money back.

We won't stop working on the issue until it's solved.

If we can't make it work for any reason, or if you prefer to get a refund, no problem, you will get your money back.

We are not going to be as responsive as we ought to be, I am currently on vacation, and so is the programmer of the game, we will both be back on the week of July 20th.

Still can't cross the finishing line

It was nice seeing your posts again here at the forum. First, I'd like to thank you and everyone for your understanding and writing to us here on the AppleVis forums. Secondly, I'd like to inform you that I've installed the latest update of the game that was sent to my email address. Unfortunately, I am unable to cross the finishing line in tournament mode and complete the game, I can now hit the escape key to pause or resume the game and go back to the main menu. I tried playing tournament mode 5 times and selected different type of cars each time I play, but everything seems the same as the previous version. Hope you fix this as soon as you're available back from your holiday.
To avoid future problems, I highly suggest you to select a group of active audio gamers from the AppleVis website such as Ke7zum, me, and other audio gamers from here for beta testing especially the iOS version of the game. I am an iOS gamer myself, I can report bugs as soon as I find them.

I apologize for the bugs you found in the game, I’m working now to fix all of bugs based on the reports I’ve read here and other forums,

Most of the problems weren't found during testing because the game is running of a lot of different hardware platforms and on two different operative systems,

I will release a new free update of the game soon with a lot of fixes and new features,
