Accessing iCloud drive on mac

Hello all,
How can I access my iCloud drive on my mac like you can google drive? I know you can access files stored on iCloud using finder. I want to actually be able to add folders and files like you can with google drive.

I'm not quite sure what you mean about accessing iCloud Drive but specifying that you already do this in Finder. Being a folder, Finder is the only way to access this feature, just like you would Dropbox or Google Drive. In Finder, simply press cmd-shift-i and your iCloud Drive will open' showing your folders and files. You can create or remove folders, cut/copy/paste, save or remove files, and anything else you do in any other folder. If I've misunderstood your question, I'm sorry.

When I do cmd plus shift plus h to open my home directory I can see google drive and dropbox in this list. However I cannot see iCloud anywhere. I can find some of the files by searching for them using the finder. I want to be able to see my iCloud drive like I can my google drive or dropbox in the home directory.

Okay, I see what you're after. I don't recommend it, though. The actual folder is buried in a lot of subfolders, and it's far faster to just use the hotkey. It's kind of like your home folder itself. Technically, you could go to the root of your drive, then the Users folder, then your account folder, then the Home folder. But cmd-shift-h gets you right where you want to go. You can also use the sidebar to have an icon for iCloud Drive, if you're wanting a target for dropping items with a mouse.
