iOS 10 native mail app

I don't like what they have done to the native mail app in iOS 10. I can't see what was wrong with the way it was. Does anybody use an alternative accessible mail app on iOS 10?

#1 It's the best we've got

Hi. I don't mind the new mail app at all. The threading thing is a bit annoying, especially when it shows you messages you have already deleted but if you know how to stop that then to me it's not much changed. I also like the unsubscribe link at the top of mail messages now as junk mail really gets on my nerves lol. However, the thing I can't seem to work out is how to sort my messages? Right now I have my new messages coming in at the top but I want them at the bottom. If anyone has a clue how to change the sort order then please let me know. Thanks

I removed Apple Mail (new feature in iOS 10) and replaced it with Inbox by Gmail :)
THe smart/intelligent features and great accessibility Inbox has worked very well for me.

#3 Inbox and gmail

I have gmail installed on my iPhone but I find it really clunky and find that the checkboxes just get in my way. Might take a look at inbox or is this indeed the same as gmail?

Regarding newest message on top try the following:

Go to settings, mail, threading, and then turn off Most recent message on top option. Hopefully this sorts it out for you.

#5 threading

I have to say that after getting used to it, i really like the new way threads are displayed. Don't forget that there is a message option on the rota which will allow you to flick from message to message. Sorry if that sounds patronizing, but until I found this rota option existed I found the thread thing a nightmare.

#6 I use the Gmail App

I just use the Gmail app.

#7 Inbox by Gmail

Hi kevinchao89 ,

Does Inbox by Gmail only work with Gmail accounts?
Will I be able to add my non-gmail email account to the inbox?

Thanks in advance for your assistance.
