Got a refurbished mac mini M1 on the way and am going to be using it as a server/tucked away remote machine with my iPad as a bit of a do all. It's my understanding that I'll need some HDMI emulator dongle to avoid any issues with voiceover.
There was a podcast on here about the fit-Headless dongle but I can't seem to find it here in the UK. I'm unsure of what I am specifically looking for, a lot of them seem to work as chrome cast devices or talk about graphics acceleration, which doesn't make a great deal of sense to me.
Any UK voiceover and mac mini users, please chip in on specific brands, otherwise, any other advice about what I should be looking at would be great.
Thanks
Ollie

You don't need one.
I've owned 2 of the recent Mac Mini's and have never had a display plugged in to either of them.
Absolutely no problems with performance or system slowdown and nothing was plugged in to any display or HDMI port.
I think this performance issue was a problem with early Mac Mini's, but the later versions are designed to run headless as they can be linked together to create server racks and other uses without monitors.
Great news
Thanks for your reply. Very helpful.
Now, I just need to find a wired mouse, stupid that the setup requires one.
