A few years ago, I was able to add Web sites to the Mac task bar, but not in Sierra. I want to add an alias for a Web site on the Mac desktop, or else in the task bar. Has anyone done this in Sierra? I've tried selecting the url in the Safari address bar and dragging it to an empty place on the desktop using vo+shift+command+space but no luck. As I recall, an older version of Safari had a Web site icon to the left of the url in the address bar, and dragging that, even with the VO+period key, worked to add it to the task bar. But not anymore. I have sites for work that I visit all the time and it's slow getting to them on the bookmarks list.
