Issue with reading long documents and "Authentication login panel" announcement interrupting

Hi,

I'm sure I'm not the only one who experiences this but, when I'm reading a long document after hitting VO A, there is an exceedingly annoying announcement that comes in saying "Authentication login panel". I'm at a loss as to what this actually is but would really love to know how to get rid of it. Is it a system thing or a voiceover thing?

Hi,
Here's what I think it is. In your energy saver preferences, under system prefs, there's a setting called something like auto dim the display after, five minutes. I set all the sliders, every single one of them to never. I don't want the computer automatically going to sleep, locking, or otherwise shutting down unless I tell it to do so.
