Description of App

Nebula is a spaceship battle arcade game that will provide you a new
experience. With many features such as 3D audio, device movements and
accessibility for the visually impaired.

- Gaming Modes: Campaign**, Free and Multiplayer.
- 3D audio*, allowing play without vision.
- 48 enemies spaceships.
- Evolution of the game story in each level.
- Upgradeable spaceship.
- Detailed tutorial.
- 9 chapters and 36 levels.

*For a better experience, use your headphones.
**Chapter 2-9, need to be purchased via a single In-App Purchase.

During the last great inter-galactic war, the Spacial Defense Force
created the Nebula project, an army of defense and attack composed by
2000 spaceships. The project got it's name due to the difficult the
pilots had to perform combats in space, as they face huge nebulas that
limited their vision and scrambled their systems. Because of this,
engineers have invested heavily to develop a technology that would allow
us to hear other ships and unknown objects.

Accessibility Comments

Some parts of the app such as the tutorial and start of chapters are self voicing, the game was designed with the blind in mind, however it has images, making it possible for us to play with all sighted players, and it will give no advantages to them because sometimes during the gameplay it will be quite hard for them to see, making it necessary to listen just like we do to progress.
Voiceover works with the app at all times, so you don't have to turn it off during gameplay.

VoiceOver Performance

VoiceOver reads all page elements.

Button Labeling

All buttons are clearly labeled.

The app is fully accessible with VoiceOver and is easy to navigate and use.

Other Comments

This is the first game from this company, called Gray Company. I've talked to one of it's developers for quite some time, and I assure you guys this is just their starting point, they are interested in making many other games(at least one more until the end of the year).
These developers are really open to new suggestions and improvements for the game, The updates will take some time to be released, but this will surely get updated in the near future with your suggestions in mind.
Many of you will read the app's description and say: One more space game for the blind... But consider the following: Many games created with the blind in mind are easy to play, you finish it in an hour or two.
This is Completely different, in this case the developers are trying to bring the challenges of the games which they have played, games for the sighted. and trust me, the game isn't going to go easy on you. You might take an hour to beat a level, because just like everything else in life, success comes with practice, and you'll surely need it! And consider that there are 36 levels, the entire game costs $1.99 usd for hours of fun! In my opinion this is a steal! I really hope you guys like the game and spread the word about it.
The game also comes with a tutorial to get you started, but I can help you guys if you have difficulties just post here. Have fun!

Hi guys!

So last month we released a Nebula update to iOS 10. We are looking for possible bugs, so we'll be glad if you report us some feedback.

Now the game has not in-App purchase anymore and costs US$ 0.99.

JeffB reported us that the game crashes sometimes in iPhone 7 and we are trying to discover the problem. We'll release a new version as soon as the bugs have been fixed.

Best Regards! Gray Company developers.

Hi. I was wondering if you could add a swipe-based setting in addition to the tilt setting. I for some reason can't always tilt in the split second that I havnd then I get hit. Probably my incompetence, but just curious. Also, how do you get hangar points? I am having difficulties getting past level 1 as of now. Sorry if this is just me being bad at the game.

One thing I noticed was that in the campaign and free modes, you don't hear the boarder or or your shooting sound, yet in training, you do. Very odd. Still, it's a good game.

HI. I have got through the tutorial. When I click on campaign I hear it say chapter one refuelling. What is supposed to happen? Am I supposed to wait? or am I meant to touch something? If I then go to level one the beginning I get told I have less than 5 percent fuel? Any tips?

Submitted by JeffB on Friday, April 7, 2017

Hi Maria refuelling is the name of the level. There is no actuall refuilling done in this level. You need to safely make it to the station to refuel. In this level you need to shoot all the ships in your way. There is an extra life that will help you about half way through the level. I hope this helped let me know if you have any other questions.

this game doesn't appear to be free in any form in the UK App Store. I'm not complaining about it just mentioning the fact.

I love Nebula. However, I have some suggestions on how it can be improved.
Firstly, a range of difficulties could be set. Easy, medium, or hard.
Secondly, there should be an option to erase your progress and start a new game.
This would make it better, when a player has finished all chapters, and want to start over again.
Thirdly, the points should be able to be re-ordered. E.g. a player finishes chapter 1, puts both points earned into life, attempts chapter 2, however, can't pass it. At the moment, they would need to delete the game, and reinstall it, yet, it would make it easy if points could be reordered.
Overall, it is a great game.

The game is free. To the best of my knowledge, it has been free since last year, look at the newest version

hello all,
For people that got the app when it was FREE, paying is not required, since you got it before it became paid.
For people that haven't got the app, the app is now paid, about US$0.99 in my area.
Personally, $1 isn't much, considering the in-app purchases were almost that amount as well. I'm guessing the pricing is to make up for in-app purchases being removed.

I love this game.
I play it all the time.
Listed below are some suggestions.
1. Allow the user to restart the game.
If the user could restart the game, it would save the user having to delete the game, and reinstall it just to start over.
2. Allow the user to see all chapters, and which have been completed and which haven't.
3. Allow the user to edit where points are placed in the hanger.
This would be a great feature, as I have put points somewhere where it makes it impossible to complete the level. If the user could edit where the points are, for example to switch a point to ship speed to attack speed, it would make it so much easier.
Overall, it is a great game, and one of the best action and fighting games.

Hello evryone.
I finally got this game, and its alot of fun.
About the multiplayer mode, can anyone explain it to me, how to start it, how to invite others, etc.
I'm new to the new game center method.

Submitted by Igna Triay on Saturday, August 10, 2019

If I remember correctly, I think you can invite someone via gamecentre or via I don't remember if it was wifi or bluetooth... Anyway, once the other person accepts the invite, I think the game should start automaticly, I haven't played multyplayer in quite a while so not sure though. Hth
