I was surprised that this app is very accessible.
I've only played level one so so far its working well. Its a small business sim you start off with $3.00 and you set the price of cups sugar and lemons and you make a profit of course. so if there are any issues with the other levels please comment down below and I will change the rating. So enjoy. This is something I've been looking for a long time now.

This is a pretty cool game. I love simulation games so this is perfect for me. I really wish you could make the lemonade though. I'm just wondering, does the game change at all over the course of levels? I'm on level 10, but the only differences i've seen between levels is that the price in supplies increases slightly.
that's all I've noticed so far. I don't know what will happen but some bees stole my sugar and some bullies stole some of my money. lol I wished we could hear the sound effects though and make it our selves. I'm going on level 9.
I like the game so far but wish it had more depth like being able to make the lemonade and having sound effects when something happens. So far, I have only had bees steal my sugar.
Yeah, like you should hear bees when bees steal your sugar, a kid laughing when a bully comes, wind when your cups blow away, stuff like that. And you should be able to squeeze the lemons into a pitcher and shake in the sugar and pour it into cups. And when you complete a level it would be cool to have a coin sound. But I really love this game, I am hopelessly addicted, lol
Here's what to do go to the support page and write the developers and give them a detailed description of what you want in the game. I'm going to do it. But if one person writes them they may not do anything so I request that we all go and pitch ideas to them. But I'm glad its accessible though. I can't believe I was searching the app store for a game like this and I found it and surprise surprise the game actually worked.
cool game, but I have to say it those ads that come up on the screen are annoying. sure you can just avoid them, but still. Meh.
The adds don't bother me. The adds are next to the game on the right side of the screen so you could avoid them altogether. It doesn't interrupt the game. I'm going to write the devs now to tell them how to improve the game.
So for those who have played so far what level are you on and what has happen differently? I'm on level 12 and there was a snow storm and the wind blew away my cups.
I am at level 21. I seem to be going quite well with not too much adverse activity affecting my lemonade. I just want to try and find a definitive strategy for succeeding at this game. On a slightly different note, I believe that the comments that pertain to the accessibility and usability of the app should be adjusted slightly as this app is not completely accessible--not all buttons are clearly labelled and VoiceOver does not read all page elements.
I will be writing about this app on audiogames.net as well.
TJT, I do not know what you're saying here, because all buttons on mine are labeled, perhaps you got the wrong one.
And if you're talking about the numbers next to the weather status, those are for how many cups, and how many lemons, and how many packets of sugar you have that have not been used up.
So there's nothing inaccessible. And if there is something inaccessible, would you tell us what it is?
yes please state where that it isn't accessible because I found not one problem with it.
I'm on level 62 and I can't sell my lemonade higher than $5.00 so I'm loozing money. Every level the sugar, cups and lemons go up buy a cent. And even when its a hot day I lower the price and I still don't get much of a sale as the earlier levels. I will see where it takes me when I continue the game later. I wrote the devs and they didn't respond to me as yet.
First, I want to make clear that I am not an accessibility expert, but this is what I have found. Also, this is an app rather than a website, but I believe that these accessibility concepts still apply. Yes, I do realise that the numbers refer to the amount of cups, lemons and sugar we have, but in level 1, we were not to know that. VoiceOver does not make any explicit reference to the cups, lemons and sugar. Obviously, we cannot see the visual clue. Guideline 1.1.1 of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines state in part that "All non-text content that is presented to the user has a text alternative that serves the equivalent purpose". There are two buttons I have found that have inadequate text labels, these being the button to turn on and off the music and the button to share one's results at the completion of each level. Returning to the WCAG 2.0 guidelines, guideline 4.1.2 states in part that "For all user interface components (including but not limited to: form elements, links and components generated by scripts), the name and role can be programmatically determined". In our case, the name is not as clear as it could be.
I will not change the rating just because a button has been mis-labeled. It may have a weird name but that is no reason to change anything. Since I am so far in the game there are no unlabeled buttons, the adds are at the right of the paige which doesn't affect game play and the numbers to the left states the ingredients and temperature. If I find a major problem with the app I will change it.
Once again, nothing needs to be changed.
If a button is labeled BBI sound on, it may stand for something, and also including the glyph share button, it may be a glyph type button... many different possibilities.
To TJT 2001, you said that that at level one you didn't know what the numbers meant. Because you didn't know what it meant at that time isn't a reason to change the accessibility rating. Those things are self explanotary. Sometimes you just have to figure out things on your own. If you still having problems, talk to the moderaters of this site and they will deal with it but I'm not changing the rating unless something major happens and so far nothing has happened as of yet. I'm on level 70. If you need a podcast on how to explain just ask someone to do it so you could understand better.
I sold my lemonade when it was raining and now I have to start all over.
What level did that happen? My money ran low on level 73 and I had to start all over again. lol the thing I don't understand Is that when I buy cups and I go to the next level and I see all the remaining cups that I have and it still asks me to buy more cups and sometimes it doesn't. I just buy 1 or 2.
When you are asked to buy items and you already have, you would be prompted to enter a value. Sometimes if you don't its going to keep asking. So just type in 0 and you could move on. That way you could save money.
I played this game for a while. But the same thing always happened... I'd get to a point where I couldn't sell lemonade for any more, but the prices of cups, sugar, and lemons would continue to go up; so I'd run out of money. This, plus the fact that nothing ever changed, caused me to uninstall the game.
I am a little late to respond to this. I just listened to a podcast made by Ornella and I tried to play this game and love it. I am only on level 2 because I had to restart but am loving this game.
