Description of App

Adopt a girl and feed and take care of her. A lot like the baby adopter app except your caring for a girl in this one with all the girl toys and so on.

Description from App Store:

Adopt a 7-year-old little girl and dress her! Feed your girl when hungry.

You have to feed your daughter when she is hungry! The girl has to be with energy equivalent of 30.

Girl will respond with sounds on tap, double tap and double finger tap on Main screen.

It is possible to change sounds settings on the Account screen.

When any of rooms is fully completed another Game Center achievement would be reached.

Accessibility Comments

Completely fully accessible except one thing. Tap on the empty list to adopt your girl. You can change her name by going to more account and then change her name.

VoiceOver Performance

VoiceOver reads all page elements.

Button Labeling

All buttons are clearly labeled.

There are some minor accessibility issues with this app, but they are easy to deal with.

Other Comments

Again tap on the empty list field when you first open the app to adopt a girl. I don't know why it doesn't show up properly but that is the only inaccessible thing with this app.

Yeah, the buttons read, sure, but explain this to me, how in the world do I do anything? On the main tab, I get a thing that says my score is 50, tells me my girl's name is Kaitlyn, as I named her, mood hungry, then I see things like sausage biscuit, yummy factor 0, apple juice yummy factor 8, but when I double tap the apple juice, it does absolutely nothing. If I go to the care tab, then for instance, I double tap on shopping, it does absolutely nothing and just keeps me on the same screen in the care tab. I'm totally baffled. How did you get it to work as from what I can see, dragging my finger around the screen reveals nothing either. I only can flick through things. I thought maybe if I could with one finger, find the items on the screen, maybe split tapping would work, but I can't even do that since moving around the screen yields nothing. I'd love to try out this game. It looks fantastic, but how the heck do I? Keep in mind, if you have some usable vision which helps you, I don't have any. At least none that is usable. How did you do this? Do tell.

OK, upon closer looking at this app, I found out how to feed my little girl. This isn't exactly obvious folks, so hears what you gotta do. OK, when you're on the main tab, you'll see your kid's name, mood, and power. if you flick down you'll see things like apple, banana, etc. Here's the problem though. For some bizarre reason, Voiceover will focus on those items, yes, but for some reason, if you double tap, it won't do anything. so, what you gotta do is 3 finger flick up, to scroll to the next page. I know, I know, it sounds cock eyed, oh, believe me, I know, but hear? me out on this: this will visually display about 3 items at a time. Now! try flicking to one of the items, then double tap. Boom! There! ya go. If sounds are on, you'll hear her react, like laugh, or cry, or coo, etc. Frankly, a 7 year old cooing? That's um... kind a sick, in my view, but ok, whatever... Remember also that you gotta wait 4 minutes between each care item/feeding. If you don't, nothing'll happen. I'm not totally sure if there is a way to lose! points. that that would be interesting. I guess if you neglecter for a while, you would, but I dono, and I really don't wanna test that to see, thanks very much? LOL! Anyway, so that's what you gotta do. So again, sorry to the submiter of this app. You're right, it does look doable. The only other issue I'm seeing is under the care tab, nothing's happenning if I double tap on shopping. Could this be I've not bought her anything yet? I only have 105 points, and I think the cheapest thing I see costs like 299 points. So, yeah. anyway, can someone let me know? You don't have to give your statigies no, as that'll ruin it, but can you at least! tell me if that shopping thing should work or is it a scrolling issue like on the main tab, or what gives? Thanks again, and so sorry for the confusion. God bless. Chris.

And apology accepted. I can understand your frustration. And it was my fault for not being a bit more detailed. Looks like you figured it out on your own though. You may have even described the solution better than me (smile). I have no sight at all as well. Believe me though I have received much worse criticism from people in the past. Yours was mild (smile). No problem. I didn't even take offense. Take care and enjoy the app. Not sure about shopping. But again my post on x2line games may help with that. Take care of yourself. Does the seven-year-old speak? Can you have simple conversations with her?
I had loads of fun raising my own daughter, playing with dolls and tea sets. I think I had more fun than she did.
Can one change the age? I thought five was the sweetest age.
I do have a daughter and a son, both in real life and virtually, through My Baby Sim.
Great game, though they stay firmly locked in babyhood.
I once heard of a doll you could buy that could grow from birth to say eight or nine.
Also, in My Baby Sim, the baby can say 'hi and 'mama', two words no baby in the game's age range can say.How about this one? Are there any glaring inconsistencies?

Hi. To answer your question, the little girl doesn't speak. She does react when you feed her, and each care action has its own sound. I think this app is cute, but I wish you could actually interact with the little girl, like have her play with the toys, be able to have conversations with her, etc.

I kind of wish this would work on the watch but it only shows the girl and the stats wich sucks. It would be so cool to feed her on the go. My girl’s name is Cayla.
