I just listened to the podcast and Googled a bit for this product. Now I don't know is the link given in the feed the right one. I found several reviews on Instant Pot IP-DUO60 7-in-1 Programmable Pressure Cooker but none of them states it has BT connectivity and companion app. However, I found something called Instant Pot Smart which states it has BT and the companion app but it is totally different thing and it's about $175 on Amazon.
Now, the question is, does all of them newer devices have BT and should I look for the smart labeled device?

The instant pot duo is the previous model, without bluetooth connection to an app.
Thanks a lot Victor for finding this item.
I have just ordered a sous vide machine from www.chefsteps.com, and I kind of wish I had seen this first.
This sounds easier and defenetly much faster then sous vide cooking though both have apps and allow you to precisely cook and monitor your food.

I had never used a pressure cooker before. After listening to the podcast I did some further research on Amazon and on the Instant Pot site and I spoke with a nice and helpful IP customer service person and purchased the unit. It works very well and the app makes it very easy to use. I have made a few types of recipes- from pot roast with veggies to plain brown rice. I think my next experiment is to try corned beef with cabbage. I had never thought much about trying a new pressure cooker because it seemed you had many buttons and on-screen displays to worry about and I could usually cook items in a similar, yet slower, method. With the Instant Pot Smart and it's great app, I can replace a few other appliances and enter the tasty world of pressure cooking. I highly recommend this unit, it's app and very usable website for anyone interested.

Quick question. How do I remove an action? I want to put a pause action in place of a hold action. I am very stumpped right now. Thanks.
