Handoff issues between iOS and Mac Book Pro

Just wondering has anyone run into any issues with handoff in ios 14.4 and big sur? I can't get it working in the new ios and big sur. It used to work fine before I updated to the new software. I've checked if everything is paired with both devices and it is.

Okay, quick test:

Personal hotspot to your phone from your computer. Does it work then?

Secondly, because I had this for so long, it would seem that having screen curtain on affected it working for me. No idea why and apple accessibility say that it's not a factor but, after months of trying to get it to work, on a tech call, he told me to turn off the screen curtain so he could see what was going on and, boom it worked.

I hope this helps as it's a really useful feature that, once it is gone, is a pain in the ass to work around.

It started working after I took off screen curtain on both devices. Thank you for solving this issue for me.
