Hello.
I just aquired a focus 14 blue braille display.
I am an author and used my iPad with a dedicated keyboard. That is currently on repair.
I am thinking of maybe using my braille disllay, connected to my phone, to write my book in Scrivener. I write (ery fast. I have changed a lot of commands to make the thing w*rk the way I want to.
Is this a good idea? Am not going to buy a huge keyboard for the phone.

Maybe...
I've found that IOS generally lacks the tools for a decent workflow when I'm writing. the spellcheck is awkward and formatting isn't the best but I'm sure there are ways around these issues. As for using a brail keyboard with the iPhone, yeah sure, why not though I'd get a full sized keyboard or even a foldable for greater speed. I find brailing, especially contracted brail, can lead to greater errors leading to more backing up to fix or editing further down the line.
Also, I'd suggest editing the title of this post to be more descriptive. Unfortunately AppleVis doesn't have previews of posts so your title here is rather cryptic.
I don't have personal
I don't have personal experience with Braille hardware input on iOS, but friends I talk to tell me that it's not the best for long format text entry. Ditto on changing the post name.
