22 January, 2018 Sleep Machine Mostly Accessible A few buttons are not labelled. Also, the buttons at the bottom have strange names like bot set, which brings up settings, bot favorites, and bot more. There is one button at the top that I cannot discern its function, when pressed, Voiceover simply announces, 'selected'. Also, visually, there appears to be another button to the left of this one at the top. It looks like a button, but I don't have enough vision to read if there is a label, or to discern what the graphic is. Voiceover will not navigate to this either with flicking or exploring. It is also possible to get trapped inside the alarm clock screen. A two finger scrub will not navigate you out of it, and there is a back button that sometimes disappears. When this happens, the only solution I've found is to close the app, and re-launch it. As a whole though, it is usable. It is possible to select the sounds, hear what each one does, then make a choice. It's possible to adjust the volume, and go in and adjust the stereo balance. It's possible to save your mixes in favorites, and load up new ones, etc. It just has a few problems, but overall, a very good app.
24 December, 2017 Hatchi - A retro virtual pet Mostly Accessible The Mountain and Botanical evolution guides are not accessible with VoiceOver.
11 January, 2019 Universal Paperclips™ Mostly Accessible The ongly thing inn-accessible with this game for me was the quantum-computing, which requires you to see when the chips are brighter or perfectly colored to generate ops. Everything else is fully labelled.
11 April, 2019 Grubhub: Local Food Delivery Mostly Accessible That this developer doesn't seem inclined to resolve accessibility issues makes me want to look at other options. I prefer not to encourage the lack of making apps fully accessible by not patronizing those apps and developers that show a distinct lack of consideration by not addressing their accessibility problems.
16 April, 2017 Blindfold Connect Mostly Accessible Probably great. Unless you use braille, in which case too bad.
8 December, 2018 BitLife Mostly Accessible It is mostly doable. Most critical thing is the event choices are not labeled.
9 August, 2018 Instacart Mostly Accessible No additional comments.
23 May, 2019 Mobile aquarium Mostly Accessible Most buttons are clearly labeled, for the rest you can just tap to see what they do then label them yourself. Although I haven't figured out how to put hats on the fish yet. I've only had them for not even a full day though so maybe I have to wait until they get bigger? We'll see.
3 October, 2019 BitLife Mostly Accessible No additional comments.
22 April, 2017 RS Games Mostly Accessible No additional comments.
9 December, 2018 Travelear: Listen to the World Mostly Accessible No additional comments.
14 July, 2019 YouMail Voicemail & Spam Block Mostly Accessible When I upgraded to the professional plan, I couldn’t edit the auto-attendant menu. They listen to feedback as well. The email address to send accessibility feedback is and their phone number for their customer service is 800-374-0013
10 October, 2018 Dice World Mostly Accessible Almost totally accessible. The only hangup I found was the dice picker in Settings. No way to close with VO.
25 July, 2019 BitLife Mostly Accessible No additional comments.
23 May, 2017 Facebook Mostly Accessible While most of this app is accessible, there are some issues which have been around for ages and do not seem to get fixed. For example, there is no way to describe how VoiceOver works when watching a live video, it just goes all over the place. Overall, it's fine if you just want to have a look at your newsfeed, keep an eye on groups etc, but at the moment I wouldn't recommend advanced things like the live videos or the "days" feature. I still don't really know what that is.
2 May, 2020 Metronome Touch Mostly Accessible Everything looks good except for the tap to beat function which I'm wating for.
17 January, 2019 Gmail - email from Google Mostly Accessible No additional comments.
9 February, 2018 LIMOR Mostly Accessible There are some unlabeled buttons, and some silent spots. However, if you have iOS 11 or later, and find one of the silent spots, it will say possible text, and then what it thinks that particular spot/option is.
15 September, 2017 Red Herring Mostly Accessible No additional comments.
12 December, 2018 BitLife Mostly Accessible This app is fun if you have the patience.
14 June, 2017 Instacart Mostly Accessible While accessibility has improved, blind people continue to be excluded from important tasks such as rating their order experience, providing feedback and communicating with the company in general. I couldn't recommend this app until those concerns are appropriately addressed. Remember, accessibility is about full participation, not just accepting the crumbs people are sometimes willing to give us.
9 August, 2019 Spotify: Music and Podcasts Mostly Accessible As of the latest update some of the options for your home screen just say button they are not labeled.
