Accessibility Comments

apart from a few unlabeled buttons that don't seem to do anything, no problems.

Usability

The app is fully accessible with VoiceOver and is easy to navigate and use.

Other Comments

You can do most things that you can on the youtube website in this app, apart from Liking and Disliking videos. It also seems like you need to log into the app through your youtube username, rather than your Email which is how you normally access youtube in other apps

I'm not sure how to login to Youtube with this app because my username *is* my email address. Even when I login to Youtube now it says my email address, not my username and my damn subscriptions were deleted.

I can't get this app to work any longer. No videos will show up in the search results, so I wonder if youtube is shutting down access for third party apps now.
This has been my go-to-app for watching youtube videos for quite some time, especially because of the ease of rewinding and fast forwarding with the arrow keys, so it's sad to have to let it go...

Access is broken for all third party apps. I'm not sure if the native youtube app has also been affected but I doubt it. Just a note, you can also fast forward and rewind with the arrow keys on the youtube website on safari. I personally enjoyed you view because you didn't get any adds.

This might explain something then. I don't have this app, but I've noticed something rather interesting on http://www.youdescribe.org and I'm wondering if it is related. All videos I've seen on there now seem to have a YouTube URL that ends with something about Device Support. In addition, their database is currently not searchable by video title. Last I checked the site most of the videos seemed to play though. But I tried twice to contact them with no response.

Hey y'all. Thought I would let you know that search has returned to the app in the latest update which is version 0.6.1. Also, Youview is now open source, so if any programers out there could submit a patch to bring back the abilities to login, access subscriptions and channels, and do all the other things you used to be able to do with the application, I would be forever grateful! Cheers. :)

I've noticed a slightly annoying thing. When you've gotten your search results for videos, I think you can press this unlabeled button to take you to take you to the next page of resuults. In theory, anyway. But every time I try it, the app crashes on me and I have to reopen it. Anyone else experiencing this, and if so, is there a fix?

Thanks,

Joseph
