This app will give you full control of your Wi-Fi enabled REC TEc grill Using any IOS device. You will be able to adjust your grills temperature, monitor the temperature of two meat probes, monitor your grills internal temperature, calibrate your grills temperature sensor, all from the palm of your hand.

Yes, the app is still extremely accessible! Adjusting the temperature is nothing more than a slider, and the power button is simply a button that you double tap on. Meat probes are also able to be read as well.

yeah, this has nothing to do with the Recteq Pellet Grill. These guys range from $399 to close to $3000.
I decided to stick with charcoal. I looked at the pellet grills and they are OK if you like having things set for you. I prefer to use charcoal. You are in control of the fire, not technology.
For temperature measurements, I use the Weber Smart Connect+, which connects via bluetooth and WI-FI. It has four connections on it and comes with a ambient probe for measuring your temperature inside the grill. It also comes with a meat probe. The battery lasts around 20 hours and takes a while to charge.
Working with the app is pretty much straight forward. You use your finger to explore. Swiping is good, but should not be used on a must-have situation. Don't be afraid to explore your screen.

Hello, if you are looking to get into pellet grilling, and like me, you did hours of research, Stop now! The Recteq app is amazing to use, no problems, I was able to setup my grill and get it on wifi without anny help at all. The controls are easy to use in the app. On the Rt340 you have two jacks for the temp probes top is probe a and below is probe b on the lower left is the power button up to the right is a settings button, up from the power you will find a dile for setting temp and navagating settings *(all can be done in the app) to the right and a bit up you will find the wifi button, I did have to hold this in for about 10 secs or so then the app found my grill.
