Braille Reference

Description of App:

A VoiceOver compatible app that allows users who are blind to look up those many times hard to remember Braille symbols and contractions. Users have the option to search for more than 250 Braille symbols and contractions. You can either search by a letter (ex. a or about) or by dots/contraction (ex. 1 or ab).

This app is ideal for users who either are learning Braille or are an infrequent Braille user who often forget those obscure symbols while on the go!

Accessibility Comments:

This application was completely built with accessibility and mind due to its nature. Extremely clean, fast, and easy to navigate interface. All information is very accessible and easy to understand. Absolutely perfect for those of us who are just learning braille. The only issue I have encountered with it so far is the inability to get back to the main menu after hitting the about button. There doesn't seem to be an option to get back, and I will be emailing the developers about this shortly.

VoiceOver Performance:

VoiceOver reads all page elements.

Button Labeling:

All buttons are clearly labeled.

The app is fully accessible with VoiceOver and is easy to navigate and use.
