Description of App

Listening to your favorite Podcasts has never been easier. Pod Wrangler takes out all the fuss and complexity of enjoying podcasts. All you need to do is find your favorite shows and leave the rest to us. Pod Wrangler will perform background sync and download ensuring all the latest episodes are always ready for you, wherever you are. Pod Wrangler's episode sync is powered by the Feed Wrangler network. This makes for nearly instantaneous syncing and reliable updates. Pod Wrangler also lets you listen to single episodes of a podcast. Perfect for catching that one interview you've been meaning to listen to. Or even import an MP3 from anywhere online, turning any audio into a podcast. Feed Wrangler subscribers get automatic access to the full feature-set of Pod Wrangler. The app comes standard with ability to subscribe to up to 5 shows. A simple in-app purchase unlocks unlimited subscriptions, removes ads and enables push notifications.

Accessibility Comments

Not quite there, yet. The playback controls appear to be present on many pages when you are browsing the app, but are rarely seen by VoiceOver. When they are, movement of VoiceOver focus is unreliable and inconsistent. At its worst, you will need to explore the screen with your finger to makes sure that you are aware of all that is present. When viewing a list of episodes, there is no feedback from VoiceOver on their played status. Also on this page is a button labeled 'Wrangle'. When double-tapped, the label changes to 'Done', so I am assuming that it does something similar to what you would expect from a button that allows you to select items. Unfortunately, there is no feedback from VoiceOver if you activate this button and then double-tap on episodes in the list. I am assuming that they are being selected or deselected, but have no idea for what purpose.

Usability

There are some accessibility issues with this app, but it can still be used if you are willing to tolerate these issues and learn how to work around them.
