simple and easy to use with VoiceOver
I love it!! simple audio recording/editing. one of the features I love the most is the ability to use an external keyboard, for faster audio editing. I'm glad I was able to beta test the app and provide accessibility feedback. Hopefully they will add in more features in future updates.

hy, I glad gold wave coming to iOS, but, I can't use with touch gesture with VO.
although I use reaper for multi track editing, gold wave on windows remains my go to for single track audio editing. I’ve used it for over 10 years, or is it 20, and every time I think of a feature that I would want, I emailed the developer and he points out that it’s already there. The Windows version has a special screen reader mode, so I’m glad to see accessibility in mind on the iOS version as well.
me too. I was glad to beta test the mobile version when it became available. I, too, have used gold wave when I was a windows user using Jaws, and the same keyboard shortcuts also work on iOS as well.
Either I'm doing something stupidly wrong or VO just doesn't like GoldWave's "number fields". It is always a pain in the butt to access a number field. Double-tap, triple-tap, double-tap and hold... nothing works. On the occasion that I do finally manage to allow myself to be able to edit the field, I either end up typing data in an unwanted place or setting the value to 50 or 200 when I meant to set it to 0 or clear the field entirely
I had this app on Windows am glad to see it on iOs.
Wow! I'm super excited to try this out. When I found out a few months ago that they were making it accessible, I was so happy! I've heard a lot about this app. I'm super happy it's accessible. Just downloaded it now! Huge shout out to the entire company and beta testers! Keep up the amazing work.
Hi, is anyone using goldwave with dropbox? I’d like to, and I signed into dropbox and allowed goldwave to access it. Now in goldwave it shows a few of my dropbox folders but not all of them, I don’t know why. Has anyone any ideas? Also I’m wondering what the in-app purchase is, as so far the app doesn’t explain what can/can’t be done before purchasing it...
they are saves. You can't save freely, i.e, as many times you want, without paying.
I had a laptop ages ago and I had that app. I am glad it is no subscription but rather saves. They aren't expensive by the way.
