Description of App
This game requires the use of Bose Frames or BoseAR wearable tech. In OverHerd you play an English nobleman in charge of an over-enthusiastic catapult unit. Your assignment? Demolish the wall of your enemy’s castle by firing livestock at it. The challenge? You have to do it in the dark of night using only sound to guide you. This update includes accessibility support for VoiceOver as I've been testing this app on my iOS device, so it is worth playing.

I tried this game last year, back when I got my Bose Frames, and sadly it wasn't accessible. Although with a bit of luck, I did manage to get to the game play.
After recently purchasing a set of Bose QC35 II and wanting to try it once again, I re-downloaded it and, to my utter surprise, the game had gone through some major accessibility improvements.
I still seem to have a bit of trouble getting the app to recognize that my Bose AR gear are connected, but once you get passed that point, the rest works beautifully.
Back with my Bose Frames, when I was able to get to the game play itself, I couldn't,. for the life of me, figure out how to launch the catapult. I kept pressing the button and nothing happened. When trying with my QC35s, I still couldn't get the launching of livestock to work at all. I kept pressing buttons and nothing would happen.
It wasn't until, after getting frustrated, that I actually tapped on the right ear cup and, gadzukes, I heard the mooing of a flying cow that I realized that, when the guide tells you to tap, they actually mean tap on the headset, not to tap a button.
I went back to my Bose Frames and tried it again, this time tapping the right side of the frames, and wouldn't you know it, it worked. So all this time, it was an error on my part and boy did I ever feel a little stupid.
Now the game is staying on my phone and I've enjoyed launching livestock and destroying the walls of the French army. I'm not sure if I should be insulted though, as I myself am French. LOL!
Great game and I strongly recommend those with a pair of Bose AR compatible gear to give this one a shot.
Glad to know that you've been playing this game. Could you please demonstrate it for us and share your thoughts?
I really appreciate it.
I sadly don't have the setup to record a demo of the game. Perhaps someone else out there might be able to record one.
I was able to complete the first 3 tales of the game. After completing several shots, it says:
You have been bested.
But fear not!
Another tale awaits.
choose your tale. What am I suppose to do to win all tales? Is the gameplay the same?
does this game use specific headset to play with?
This game is compatible with Bose Frames, Bose NC 700 and other Bose AR products.
Sadly yes, you need to have either a set of Bose AR Frames, Bose 700 or Bose QuietComfort 35 II headphones. Basically Bose headphones that are compatible with Bose AR.
