Description of App

Challenge your reflexes, concentration and friends. Catch 52 drops playing cards from the top of the screen and you must catch all of either the picture cards or all the cards of a named suit (spades, diamonds, clubs, or hearts) by pressing the right screen button or tap the left screen to reject all the other cards. You can maximize your score by catching the required cards as close to the bottom of the screen as possible and rejecting the other cards as quickly as possible.

Catch 52 does not use Voice Over but is fully accessible. Turn Voice Over off before pressing the Start button on the top left of the screen.

Catch 52 is played in portrait orientation and uses gestures to change all of the game settings. One tap with two fingers silences the speech. Two taps with two fingers repeats the verbal instructions. Three taps with two fingers changes the difficulty or speed of gameplay. There are two screens, a game screen and a game over screen which is shown after three misses or completing a full deck of cards. On the game over screen a single tap with one finger on the right or left side of the screen will show the game center standings. Use a swipe up to return to the game screen.

Game Center keeps a leaderboard and record your achievements. Challenge your friends and others.

Hi! I have played Catch52 a few times now, and I really like this game a lot. You need to concentrate well on what is going on and react quickly as cards come down the screen, which you can hear as their suits or ranks are spoken and there is a noise if the card gets near the bottom, but with practice you may end up doing well. I've not yet managed to play a game of Catch52 without missing any cards at all, but hopefully that'll soon happen for me, as I missed onmy one card in my best game so far. But even if you can't help missing a few cards, it's fun just trying to beat your highest score. I should point out that you have to turn VoiceOver on if you want to find out where you are on the Game Center leaderboards, but, as has been pointed out above, you don't need VoiceOver on to play Catch52 itself, in fact game-play works better without VO.

This is a wonderful and addictive game! I am grateful to the developer for making the app completely accessible.

I think the game is cool.
Nice if you only have Avery very short period of time to play.
As far as the introduction instructions I wish there was a way to interrupt those so that I don't have to listen to them every time the game starts as well as the final score, especially if your score happens to be really crummy at the time.
Just want to play the game without all the blob Loblaw
Tried the single two finger tap and yes it stops the instructions but the start button is dimmed out so that makes it impossible to play.
It is a nice game and I can appreciate what the developer had to do in order to build the game etc.but I would hesitate to buy any other apps from him
Website has a bunch of slashes on it and no way to contact to give direct feedback sad face

I like he game as well, but I do agree about the instructions beeing able to be mutted. it takes for ever if you stop them for the start button to be undimmed. Also the speach is for me way way too slow. I love to play and listen at around 2-350 words per minute. I even think that fast. lol! At least, for now. Any way to contact the dev to make suggestioins and improvements?
