Description of App

Dexter is an app I decided to make in my spare time because I like Pokémon and I like making apps. It is completely free and I have no plans to add any in-apps or any of that rubbish, I just wanted there to be a simple and sleek Pokédex app for people to use. It's currently in an early stage and I plan to add much more!

Current Features
• View information on all current Pokémon
• Search by name, type, ability and generation
• View pokémon's moves, stats, abilities and evolutions.
• View information on all moves
• Keep track of what pokemon you have caught with the Pokemon Checklist
• Search moves by name or type

Coming Soon
• Battle Teams
Plan out your competitive teams by picking Pokémon, natures, EVs, moves, abilities, items etc.

• Move Chooser
Not sure what move is best to use in some situations? Simply input your Pokémon and moves and the opposing Pokémon and this will do some magic calculations to work out what is most likely the most damaging move to use in this situation!

• Much more data for each Pokémon
• Items list
• Any other ideas you may have!

Other Comments

Have you ever wanted your own Pokédex? Wanted to know what a Pokémon does what its weaknesses are? This app is your own personal Pokédex! I cannot say for sure if it has newer Pokémon or just the original 150. Note this is not a game more of a way to look up Pokémon. For non fans of Pokémon it is like a Pokémon dictionary. Still it’s a neat app for Pokémon fans.

What exactly is this app? Need a clearer definition. Thank you. Curious!

Pokemon spelled Pokémon in Japanese stands for pocket monster. It was an animated cartoon, card game, and since many video games have been made for it including a PC audio game for the blind called Braillemon. In the series a Pokedex is a Pokemon dictionary containing information such as the Pokemon's type, moves, HP, weaknesses and so on. This app acts as a Pokedex with the information of each Pokemon in it read by Voiceover. If you are not a fan of Pokemon, don't play the audio game Braillemon for Windows, have never watched the TV show, and or never collected the cards then this app won't do much for you. As a Pokemon fan it just provides information on the Pokemon and has no game play. However it can be used along side the audio game to look up things as you play, as well as provide nostalgia that's about it.
