Item Chooser: an iOS Feature that Offers Fast and Easy Searching of your iDevice Screen

In this podcast Victor Tsaran gives us a demonstration of Item Chooser, a tool that has been available in iOS since the release of version 5.
Activated by a 2-fingered triple tap, Item Chooser displays an alphabetical list of all the items on your iDevice's screen. You can search or browse this list, and when selecting an item VoiceOver will tell you where on the screen it is located. Double-tap, and you will be taken to that item.
Item Chooser is particularly useful with Safari, but works well with many other apps and also offers a quick and easy way to locate apps, folders and buttons.

In this podcast Eric Caron gives us a walk-through and demonstration of the Notes application that is pre-installed on iOS devices. The simplicity of this app is actually its strength, as it makes it extremely quick and easy to add new notes, edit old notes and delete what you no longer need. Eric demonstrates that Notes also offers a convenient way to transfer text to and from your iDevice using iCloud and Mail.

App Roll-Backs: How to Reinstall the Previous Version of an iOS App

In this podcast Scott shows us how to roll-back to a previous version of an app. This is useful for those occasions when an app update introduces accessibility issues for VoiceOver users. To have this roll-back option available, it is good practice to update apps directly on your iDevice and check the usability of the new version before you sync with iTunes.
