In this podcast Eric Caron revisits the iOS Reminders app to show us some of its advanced features. These include:

  1. How to change the order of your Reminder Lists
  2. How to better use the Date Tab
  3. How to use the Search area
  4. How to move between lists in the list tab
  5. How to use Siri to make a reminder that actually goes off when desired
  6. The three features under the More button

If you missed Eric's introductory demonstration of Reminders, you can listen here.

The Reminders app was introduced in iOS 5, and offers basic functionality for managing tasks and to-dos. It also has support for geolocation alerts. Although not as feature-rich as some of the task manager apps that you will find in the App Store, Reminders has enough basic functionality to satisfy the needs of most iDevice users.

The previously posted podcast has been replaced with an updated version in which Eric has added a description of the three features under the More button. The Priority selection is useless to us, The ability to change the list location of the reminder is very important and the edit field for notes might be helpful to some people.
