Accessibility Comments
while this app has made improvements as far as voiceover, their is still some fixes that need to be implemented. for example, when setting alerts the app does not tell you if you have your alerts set to low medium or high. this needs to be addressed.

Comments
#1 Developer Receptive About Accessibility
I emailed the developer a couple days ago (today is 1/7/2012) and he seemed receptive to my request for increased VoiceOver support. As it stands, though, this app is very accessible already.
#2 With all of the recent severe
With all of the recent severe weather, I thought this app was worth mentioning again; this one really is a very accessible weather app. Yesterday I went in and reconfigured my alerts, and I am happy to report that as of version 4.4.1 (released 1/4/2012), VoiceOver reads the priority of alerts in the setup menu. Once I become more confident with the setup process, I plan on recording a podcast on using this app.
#3 Podcast
For those who are interested, I recorded a podcast demonstration of Weather Alert USA. It is posted in the podcasts section of AppleVis and can be found here: http://www.applevis.com/podcasts/episodes/weather-alert-usa-comprehensive-weather-data-and-alerts-official-noa....
