Description of App

Designed to go alongside or replace your existing Notes program Notes Secure is the best looking secure notes program / password manager available.

LOCK ANY NOTE
Simply tap on the padlock icon to lock any note. Store pin numbers, credit card details and logins safely alongside your other unlocked notes. There is no need to enter a password to access unlocked notes.

THEMES AND FONTS
Select from a series of themes and fonts to change the appearance of the program throughout.

FAST TEXT SEARCHING
Uses the Sqlite FTS3 extension to ensure fast searching of large databases of notes.

QUALITY SECURITY
Blowfish encryption. Change your password at any time. We never store your password - an irreversible hash of your password is the only thing that is stored and from this your password cannot be retrieved. Automatic timeout of the password if you leave the program or after a set time from your last activity.

Compatibility

This is a universal app, so works natively on the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad

Accessibility Comments

This seems to be quite an accessible app. It has a fairly simple interface, which is easy to navigate.

If you are viewing a note, tapping onto the note itself will only have VoiceOver read the line that you happen to have tapped on. Your next swipe will take you out of the note. However, if you swipe into the note, VoiceOver will read all of it.

VoiceOver Performance

VoiceOver reads most page elements.

Button Labelling

Most buttons are clearly labelled.

Usability

There are some accessibility issues with this app, but it can still be used if you are willing to tolerate these issues and learn how to work around them.

Other Comments

One criticism of this app is that there does not appear to be a cancel button when editing a note. So, if you decide that you don't want to keep any changes that you have made, there seems to be no way of reverting back to the previous version.

This app is currently on a "free for 48 hours" offer.
