Comments
#1 A bug with the app
One thing I forgot to mention when I did the description of this app. When an individual opens the app for the first time, it would ask for the person to use location tracking. When a person clicks yess, it says that it failed to find an individuals location. However, this is not true, and it has found the location.
#2 Hello, In order to search
Hello,
In order to search for a business, you must enter the city and state that the business is located. I do not know why MapQuest is like that, but I tend to use around me to get the business info, and use MapQuest to get directions to that place.
Hope this helps.
#3 Format for entry?
Thanks for that info. So do you just enter the business name then the city and state? Or is there a place for the city and state? You'd think it could use the city and state of your location if that's where the business is located, and only make you enter it if it was somewhere else. Thanks.
#4 Hello Roger, You enter the
Hello Roger,
You enter the business in one feeld. First enter the business, city, and state.
#5 Does the app have downloadable maps?
Does the app have downloadable maps? The reason I ask is because I'm on a limited data plan, and I don't want constant draining of my data while using the app. If not, how frequently does it use data?
If someone could get this info to me, that would be great. The description didn't mention downloadable maps or data usage, so I'm wondering.
Thanks,
Shersey
#6 App uses data
Hello,
This app relies on your data from your cellphone provider for getting directions and tern by tern navigation.
Hope this helps.
#7 Unable to search
I've tried entering the name of a local business in the search box and it just doesn't find anything. Maybe it's not determining my current location properly, how would I find this out and what can I do about it? It is permitted to use location services. Any other suggestions? Thanks.
