I want to share my current knowledge on achieving this. There may be better ways but this is what I know right now and it works! Follow the recipe below. It may not give you great lasagna but it will give you voiceover on any pdf file you want or need to read on your Mac!
1) Use ‘Preview’ to view the pdf document
2) Make sure you have ‘Single Page’ selected on Preview’s ‘View’ drop-down menu – You may also choose to ‘View Thumbnails’ of the pdf pages

Hi all I have some good news if you want to use Windows on your mac using VMWare Fusion. I can now tell you how to re-map one of the keys on your mac keyboard so it becomes an insert key. Here we go.

You can navigate through a web page with links to streaming audio. ACB Radio comes to mind.
But when you stream the audio, you find no way to save the URL of the stream as a shortcut icon on your home screen.
Not to worry, you can bookmark Audio stream URLS too.
Simply locate the link as usual. But instead of double-tapping to activate it, double-tap and hold.
Wait for a second and an "action" menu will slide in to view. The URL target of the selected link will be read prefixed by the message Alert, to inform you of the appearance of the action menu.

As a Voiceover user, the Simplenote app by Automatic is an app I use daily. It's free and are versions for IOS, Android, Windows, Mac, Linux and in a browser.
Your notes sync seamlessly between platforms, no extra steps required.
You can read all about it here but I will focus on two features I find most useful as a Voiceover user of the IOS app in particular.

As VoiceOver users on the Mac, we all love short cuts. They make our life and computer experience easier. Most of us are familiar with the basics, when in mail Command N for a new message, and Command Shift D to send that message. We have to learn all of these keyboard commands to use our Macs. I am here to tell you that once you have gotten comfortable using your Mac, there are even more ways to speed up performance. Today I want to discuss Keyboard Commander.

If you have Microsoft Outlook, it can use several methods for syncing your contacts with your iPHONE; this guide doesn't cover that.
If you use iTUNES whether or not you also use Outlook, it too, has many ways to work with your contacts.
But for me, both iTUNES and Microsoft Exchange have tended to mess up my contacts as much as automate the sync process, so I have found another, and what I believe is a safer way for Windows users to keep contacts in order.

What Are Tags?
Starting in macOS 10.9 Mavericks, files could be given one or more "tags", to help users keep things organized. A tag is simply a text label you can assign to a file, letting you organize your files with categories instead of, or in addition to, folders. For example, a student might have a science folder, holding a textbook, handouts, tests, notes, assignments, research papers, and more. What if a quiz deals with thermodynamics, as do some files of notes and a paper.

Since the release of iOS11, one problem a lot of us are having is that the new Siri voices can cause our phone to go silent. Usually, the only way to get speech bak when this happens is to hit that trusty little home button and the lock screen button simultaneously for about eight slow seconds before the phone will be forced to restart. Or, that's how it was until the iPhone 8.

The default Mail app on the Mac is easy enough to use once you set up your mail accounts. You up and down arrow through your messages, press delete to trash some, and… Wait, how do you read messages? Enter? VO-J? Use the preview? When writing a message, how do you choose contacts, or add multiple contacts to a field? Why is it so hard to view attachments? How do you add mailboxes to your favorites bar, so you can access them with hotkeys? Okay, so Mail isn't as simple as it first seems, but that's why AppleVis exists.

A few weeks ago, I found myself looking for keyboard tips for VoiceOver users online, hoping I'd find something that was perhaps different. I was getting tired with the amount of stress BSI (Braille Screen Input) was giving me, and my most vulnerable weak spot was the onscreen keyboard. I was too slow on it, couldn't type quick enough to match my laptop-typing standards, and was just over the fact that I must've been relying too much on my BrailleSense to have a backup in place when I was without it.

What's a Commander?
A commander is a really handy feature of VoiceOver. With it, you can quickly move around, change a setting, or even run an app or Applescript file. Commanders are very useful and, among many other things, they are an easy way to give the Mac a way to speak the time and date with a single keystroke.

I have recently used the Contacts app a lot in macOS and have come to discover how it works, which is not the way I expected it to. I thought I would share my hard-won knowledge in the hope that someone else will benefit.

The Control Center is the feature, that allows users to directly access and manipulate commonly used settings at one place. These settings include, turning airplane, wi – fi, Bluetooth etc on or off, locking/unlocking screen orientation, activating / deactivating do not disturb, adjusting brightness, handling music player, turning rear led flashlight on or off, using calculator and clock and many other frequently used feature settings.

If you're using a Multi-Touch trackpad, you can use VoiceOver gestures. VoiceOver provides a set of standard gestures for navigating and interacting with items on the screen. You can't modify this set of gestures. NOTE: Gestures that don't mention a specific number of fingers are single-finger gestures.
