#1 The express version of this app
Hi,
Does anyone know if the express version of this app is just as accessible as the pro version?
The express version is £20 cheaper and it seems to have very little difference within the descriptions, I.E. It seems to be extremely similar. I was wondering about buying that instead of the pro version, just to save myself a bit of cash… However, I know that pro is accessible, from the comment here, and I don't want to fall foul of an inaccessible app and then have to get my money back.
Just wondered if anybody knew… Thanks
#2 There's a 15-day free trial download for both Express and Pro
You can go to the developer's web site and download 15-day free trial versions of both Nisus Writer Pro and Nisus Writer Express to check accessibility and also compare the feature sets for yourself. According to the developer's site description, the Express version does not have support for features such as Table of Contents, Indexing, Cross References, Bookmarks, Track Changes, Comments, Watermarks, Export to ePub, and Export to .docx (though it can import .docx format Office documents). It is worth checking the links to the MacUpdate site and the developer's web page since a number of Mac apps that are in the Mac App store may have trial versions that you can access using these links. MacUpdate links to the specific product page at the developer's web site, so it is easy to check whether there is a trial download. The MacUpdate site also provides user reviews of the software and recommended alternatives for the software.
