Description of App

Are you an iOS user that is working with a developer, and they just asked you for some crazy information that you do not understand?

Are you a developer trying to work with a client that does not know the difference between a UDID and USB?

This app will provide the following pieces of information about the iOS device that it is loaded on:

  • iOS version [Used for OS compatibility]
  • UDID [Used for ad-hoc distribution]
  • Model [Used to verify device features]
  • WiFi IP Address [Used to verify network connectivity]
  • Cellular IP Address [Used to verify network connectivity]

The user has the option to include or skip individual pieces of information before easily emailing or SMS text messaging (iPhone only) them to the developer.

This app is fully accessible with VoiceOver.

Simply use the toggle switches to select which information you wish to include, and then tap to send it either by email or SMS.

A nice little tool for anybody who needs this information when working with developers on app testing.

Two ipod touch users have found this app not to be usable. It hangs when it opes and shows only the status menu at the top of the screen at least to vo.

When I tested this app on my ipod touch 4g, VOICEOVER wouldn't read anything. Not accessible at all. Do not get this app.

Very strange.

I've just installed this on an iPhone 4 running iOS 4.3.5, and the app worked just fine with VoiceOver.

There appears to be just a single page. The first 2 items on the page are buttons to either email or SMS the information on your device. Below this are 5 switch buttons to toggle which information is included. Next is a button that refreshes the IP Address information. Finally, there is an iAd.

Does this work for anybody else, or is it just me and the OP?

I also see that the app is no longer free, which makes the presence of an advert quite annoying.
