Description of App
This application lets you listen to Insight Radio on your iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad.
While listening, the app displays text and images about the programme on air now. You can interact by phone, email, Facebook and Twitter.
Please note that while this application is open and streaming our broadcast, it is constantly downloading data and this can accumulate quickly. You should first ensure that you have a data plan with your operator which allows for this type of use.

Accessibility Comments
Fully usable with VoiceOver, but not as perfect as you would expect for an app that gives access to a radio station that broadcasts content aimed at the vision-impaired (and is operated by the RNIB).
On the main screen there are 2 elements announced as unlabelled buttons. Neither of these appear to do anything, so I am assuming that they are graphical elements.
The app doesn't appear to support background playback, so if you choose the menu option to play in background you end up in Safari.
You even need to go through a menu item to get to the volume controls. Presumably there is a good reason for doing it this way, but it just strikes me as odd.
If you simply want to listen to their programmes, you might as well load them up in TuneIn or ooTunes and get a far more complete and satisfying user experience.
