Device(s) App Was Tested On:
This App is not accessible using VO. At first launch the screen is switched to landscape and you are presented with three popup dialogs: One asking to allow push notifications, one asking you to sign into game center, and one advertisement. I was able to dismiss each of these popups. Beyond that, all screen elements are hidden from VO.
I have contacted both Hasbro Consumer Affairs and Electronic Arts several times over the past year to point out the lack of access to this App, to ask that they consider adding accessibility, and to inform them of the resources available to help guide them in designing equal access into their line of simple board / grid-style games.
This is another Hasnro board / grid style game I grew up with and was disappointed to find lacking access. Fortunately, there are a number of other good accessible IOS word games available that are reviewed on Applevis.
