How do you invite friends when playing Naval Combat?

Hi, just bought the game Naval combat. Anyone know how to invite a friend to play against. I tried inviting someone but kept getting the no results message when I know they wer online at the same time. Not sure if I am doing something wrong. Thanks for any help.

just go to: invite friend
then you should have your game center list
consider that, if you have no contacts in the game center and you are going to look for a person by nickname, you cannot search him/her from there, but from the friends section of game center
there is an add button and there you can add the person; only when he/she is inside your game center contact list, you can play together and send/receive invites
